EuroDreams in a nutshell

EuroDreams is Europe’s newest multi-country lottery, launched on 6 November 2023 and played in eight countries including France, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland and Portugal. Instead of a rolling cash jackpot, the top prize is a monthly income – €20,000 a month for 30 years – and the second prize is €2,000 a month for five years. Draws take place every Monday and Thursday. Players pick six numbers from 1 to 40 plus one Dream Number from 1 to 5; only the top prize needs the Dream Number.

How to play EuroDreams

  1. Choose six different numbers from 1–40, or let a Quick Pick choose them for you.
  2. Add one bonus number from 1–5. It is drawn from a separate pool, so the same value can appear in both parts of the result.
  3. Wait for the draw and compare your line with the winning numbers; the order does not matter.
  4. The top prize needs all six main numbers plus the bonus number; smaller combinations win lower prizes set by the operator.

What are the odds in EuroDreams?

A single EuroDreams line has a 1 in 19,191,900 chance of winning the top prize – that is the number of different combinations the draw can produce. Getting at least three main numbers right is far more common, about one line in 30, while a result of six main numbers without the bonus happens about once in 4,797,975 lines.

Among the 88 lotteries on this site, EuroDreams ranks number 48 for jackpot odds, where number 1 is the easiest. In Europe, Loto (France) (1 in 19.1 million) has better odds and Joker (Greece) (1 in 24.4 million) is harder. Compared with US Powerball, the jackpot is about 15 times easier to hit.

Playing two lines in two draws every week – 208 lines a year – you would wait on average around 92,269 years for one jackpot, so the jackpot is something to dream about rather than plan for.

Using the EuroDreams tools on this page

For a quick pick, the generator above builds random EuroDreams lines – as many as ten at once – and checks that every number fits the 1–40 range. The odds tab breaks down every possible result, while the demo draw runs a realistic draw with your own numbers. In the demo you also choose the bonus number from 1–5, exactly as on a real slip.

The simulator goes further: ten years of two lines twice a week means 2,080 lines, and on average about 65 of them would match exactly three main numbers while the chance of a top prize in that time is only about 1 in 9,227. No generator can improve the odds – every combination is equally likely – but it saves time and avoids popular patterns such as birthdays.
