About Lotto (Norway)
Lotto is Norway’s most popular number game, run by the state-owned Norsk Tipping and drawn every Saturday evening. Players choose seven numbers from 1 to 34 – the smallest pool of any seven-number lotto on this list – which gives jackpot odds of about one in 5.4 million. Profits from Norsk Tipping go to sport, culture and voluntary organisations across Norway. Additional numbers drawn from the same pool decide some lower prize tiers, but the jackpot requires all seven main numbers.
