Lotto (Sweden) in a nutshell
Lotto is one of Sweden’s oldest number games, run by the state-owned Svenska Spel. Players choose seven numbers from 1 to 35, and every ticket takes part in two draws – Lotto 1 and Lotto 2 – giving two chances to win with the same row. Matching all seven numbers wins the top prize, while smaller matches and bonus numbers pay lower tiers. The small 35-ball pool gives jackpot odds of about one in 6.7 million per draw, much better than the pan-European games Swedish players can also buy.
